Statusan autonomous, unincorporated charity which is managed by a board of eight trustees with diverse skills drawn from the local area. It is an accredited Age Concern Group member within the Age Concern Federation but has to raise all of its funding and is mainly dependant on local donations. We are accredited by the Community Legal Service for Helpdesk and Helpdesk by telephone support.

to promote the well-being of all older people and help make later life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience.

 

 We aimWe aim:    
• to accurately inform all older people over 50 and their carers of the opportunities to support or benefit from; events, clubs, organisations and services available to them
• to promote the provision of services which are not available to older people and;
• to campaign to end ageism in five key areas: employment, health, social care, learning and in the market place.
