Main Objectives

To work with the community to enhance the facilities & to improve services provided by Strategic Partners & Agencies for the benefit of the greater Okehampton Area.

Main Roles

To facilitate the delivery of the Okehampton Area MCTI Community Action Plan (CAP) by:

(a)  Working with Project Champions to deliver Projects.

(b) Working with Strategic Partners & Agencies to address issues raised within the CAP

(c) Promote engagement in Community Planning process through monthly Community Forums which are open to all

(d) Champion Community Engagement & raise awareness through Carnegie Research Programme & working with like minded organisations.

Community Forums are held on the first Wednesday of each month at the Ockment Community Centre, Okehampton from 2 to 4 pm - all welcome
