Okehampton Town Council  Planning Committee Meeting - Monday 29 November 2010

Notification of a Meeting of Okehampton Town Council Planning Committee to be held on Monday 29 November 2010 at 7.00 pm in the Council Chamber, Town Hall, Okehampton.

Declarations of Interest - Members are reminded that they should declare any relevant interest in the items to be considered.

Items
requiring urgent attention - to consider those items which, in the opinion of the Town Mayor, should be considered by the meeting as matters of urgency (if any).  To be taken at the end of the meeting.



AGENDA

1. Apologies for Absence - To receive apologies for absence from those Members unable to attend.

2. Deferment of Business - For comment by the public.

3. Members’ Questions - To receive questions from Members regarding the workings of the Committee.

4. Minutes - To confirm, approve and sign the minutes of the meeting held on Monday 1st November 2010.

5. Provision and Enforcement of On-Street Parking - A representative of Devon County Council will attend the meeting to discuss these proposals (copy of draft order enclosed).

6. Matters Arising -

6.1 Lewis Court - To receive a response from WDBC.

6.2 DCC Proposed New Primary School - To note a response from Mrs C McNeil (copy enclosed).

6.3 Okehampton Action Plan - To receive a report from the Chair/Clerk.

6.4 Coach Parking Okehampton Town Centre - To receive a report following a meeting with the Museum Curator.

6.5 Core Strategy - To receive a brief report from Councillor Leech.

6.6 Jobcentre Plus - To receive a report from a meeting with J Sinclair of Jobcentre Plus, Chair to report.

7. Plans - To consider all plans received at the Town Hall up to Monday 29 November 2010.

8. WDBC Car Parking Strategy Group - To receive a report from the Chair.

PART TWO

ITEMS WHICH MAY BE TAKEN IN THE ABSENCE OF THE PRESS AND PUBLIC ON THE GROUND THAT EXEMPT INFORMATION MAY BE DISCLOSED (if any).

The Committee is recommended to pass the following resolution:-

"RESOLVED that under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public be excluded from the Meeting for the undermentioned item(s) of business on the grounds that exempt information may be disclosed as defined in the paragraph(s) given below from Part I of Schedule 12(A) to the Act"

Paragraph 9 - Any terms proposed or to be proposed by or to the authority in the course of negotiations for a contract for the acquisition or disposal of property or the supply of goods or services.

9. Mill Site - To receive a report from Councillor A Leech.
