588. Apologies for Absence - There were no apologies for absence.
589. Deferment of Business - (for comment by the public). There were no members of the public present.
590. Nomination of Town Mayor 2010/11 - The Mayor sought nominations for the position of Town Mayor. Following a secret ballot a number of nominations for the position of Mayor were received with Councillor Morse the only nomination willing to stand. Following further discussion, and in accordance with Council’s rules and procedures, it was agreed to ballot for Town Mayor at the Annual General Meeting.
591. Nomination of Deputy Town Mayor 2010/11 - The Mayor sought nominations for this position and following a secret ballot, two nominations were received for Councillors Mrs M McDonald and P Vachon. It was also agreed that the ballot be undertaken at the Annual General Meeting.
Meeting closed 8.15 pm.
