8. Apologies for Absence - An apology for absence was presented on behalf of Councillor Mrs D Smith.
9. Appointment of New Councillor - The Clerk advised that due process had been followed for co-option of this vacancy which was for a period of approximately 12 months, concluding at the end of the current Council’s life. One application was received from K Ball of 74 North Street, Okehampton; this application was circulated, examined by Members and following discussion on suitability it was resolved by Councillor Leech, seconded by Councillor Ms Edwards, that K Ball be co-opted Town Councillor with immediate effect.
